Why we started

Renting a trailer shouldn't be the hard part

Orange Iron started the way most of these do: we needed a deckover for a weekend job and spent two days chasing one down. Every yard within an hour was either booked, closed, or quoting a rate that doubled once the paperwork came out.

So we bought a trailer in [YEAR]. Then a second one. Word got around, and now they spend most weeks out on job sites with contractors, landscapers, farmers and homeowners who ran into the same problem we did.

We've kept the operation deliberately small. It's what one person can inspect properly, keep serviced, and hand over without rushing. If that ever stops being true, we'll add equipment before we cut corners.

How we work

Three things we don't compromise on

  • Serviced before every rental

Lights, brakes, bearings, tires and deck get checked between every booking — not on a quarterly schedule. A trailer that isn't safe to pull doesn't leave.

  • Priced by the day, not the extras

One rate, published up front. No membership, no minimum rental period, and no fees that appear when you arrive to hook up.

  • Specs up front

Deck length, dovetail, GVWR and empty weight are all listed before you book, so you know it'll carry your machine and your truck can pull it.
